Calling all 6th through 10th graders who want to develop their leadership skills and have fun while giving back. Community leadership, education and service activities for personal growth and social impact, focused on animals, environment, education and public health/safety will take place on July 15th & 16th from 9am-1pm. We will work together with local professionals like a veterinarian from a pet rescue group, folks from Austin Parks Foundation, Austin Fire Department and more to learn about the different causes listed above, how to help those causes and then plan and carry out projects to impact those causes, including make social media videos. Lunch and snacks provided. Students need a refillable water bottle, comfortable clothes, closed toed shoes, hat & sunscreen recommended.
