Each spring break and summer, Badgerdog hosts writing workshops for rising 3rd - 12th graders. These fun and challenging writing workshops allow students to work closely with a professional writer as they explore the arts of poetry, fiction, nonfiction and playwriting. All campers experience the joy of reading, writing and sharing their original work.

Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary is a private, non-profit zoo, with over 350 animals across a hundred different species and is a forever home for our rescued animals. Check our website for "Daily Zookeeper Talks" schedule, a map of the zoo, and tips for planning your visit. You can purchase tickets online before you visit!

Zoo memberships and gift certificates are now available. We also offer birthday parties, camps and field trips.

Our outreach programs where we bring the zoo to you can be tailored to fit a variety of age groups and settings. From schools to retirement homes to company events to camps, our programs will both educate and entertain! Each outreach program includes meeting several of our ambassador animals up close and personal! Fantastic Magic Camp has been teaching life skills and confidence to kids ages 5 to 12 through magic, juggling and puppets since 1993. Our Summer and Spring Break Camp is a fully inclusive day camp that is often cited by children as the most fun they've had all summer. G’Day Mates! Sherwood Forest Campers will experience many of the skills and trades of the medieval era, which means making things with their own hands not drawing a picture on your screen with their fingers. Disclaimer: Sherwood Forest Summer Camp is fraught with confrontations between Robin and his Merry Folk, the Sheriff and his deputies and the Fae Folk. Camp Agape is an innovative camp program designed specifically for children and families who have suffered the loss of a loved one. Our service is available to children between 7 and 12 years of age who are grieving and need support. Camp Agape offers all the fun of a typical summer camp, along with group-therapy activities to assist children with their bereavement process. These activities incorporate the use of art, music, games and play therapies, with the theme of offering true hope for their future. For 2022 Camp is June 26th - 30th.

Our Summer and Spring Break Camp is a fully inclusive day camp that is often cited by children as the most fun they've had all summer. Brandy Perryman Shooting Camp is a 4-day shooting intense basketball camp mirrored after all the camps Brandy Perryman attended and enjoyed the most as a kid. He has taken those camps with his combined playing experience at UT and created an upbeat, positive experience for Austin area youth. All camps include 32 hours of instruction, which is approximately the same amount of time as a month of practice in middle school or a full season of a youth league. This year they are offering 18 summer camp sessions that begin on June 3rd!

Lonestar Soccer Club is a 501c3 non-profit full-service youth soccer organization for ages 4 to 19. While offering several programs for all soccer levels, the club prides themselves on also providing an opportunity for kids to enjoy an active lifestyle while developing soccer techniques, a competitive, winning mindset and teaching key life lessons. At Rock-About Climbing Adventures our Climbing Camps are day camps include five great days of climbing at great Texas locations. They include two days at the Austin Greenbelt, two days at Reimer’s Ranch, and one day at the great Enchanted Rock. The Enchanted Rock trip also includes going through the really neat cave and climbing. Ages 9 and up. No experience needed, but experienced climbers are encouraged to join also as we can challenge any level of climber. We also offer school holiday camps and beginning climber classes!

Shakti Kids Yoga was lovingly created in 2018 with the intention of creating a community of children's yoga teachers to share the tools to teach fun, engaging, and creative yoga classes for children and families.
