What’s So Great About Ballet Class?

Taking a ballet class can be rewarding in so many ways. Ballet students benefit from regular movement and challenging exercise. Ballet class builds physical strength and flexibility, and improves posture, balance and coordination. Along with the physical exercise, learning ballet improves cognitive skills such as focus, logic and reasoning, memory, auditory processing, and visual processing. Studying with classmates fosters teamwork and friendship. Ballet students enjoy creative expression, learn discipline, release stress, and gain confidence. At Capital City Ballet we think this is all pretty wonderful so we decided to check in with some of our students to see what they love most about ballet class.
